pumpkinriver@hotmail.com BioI'm an over-analytical popular culture devourer. I watch, listen to, read everything and anything. I have my favorites, those shows, films, plays and music I love unreservedly no matter what the critical reception. I watch some of the shows that are a gauge as to where our society is at at any given moment, my current obsession being American Idol and yes, that is what this blog shall mainly be about. I watch the 'high brow', and usually disagree with it, and I watch the lowest common denominator, and usually sigh.
Yet I love media...all forms of it, the internet, films, radio, magazines, blogs, theatre, musical theatre, music and last but definitely not least television.
So I bring you my ramblings on anything and everything regarding popular culture. It wont be censored, it wont be wide reaching...hell...it might not be well written but here it is. From one happy-guilt-free consumer to some others.
Warning - this journal is intensely liberal and filled with the musings/ramblings of a bisexual post-feminist 20 something woman so if you don't like that's absolutely fine but don't come whining to me ;-D
